Celjsko literarno društvo je nekaj zadnjih let vpeto tudi v mednarodne literarne tokove.

Bojan Ekselenski, predsednik Celjskega literarnega društva, je bil za območje Slovenije povabljen k mednarodnemu projektu, iniciativo zanj je podala Romunija, ki ima izredno razvito fantazijsko književnost.
I am writing to you about a project that we have discussed at Sindicatul 9 international meeting about SFF magazines: a SFF short stories anthology in English language, with authors from the Eastern European countries.
Here is our proposal for the anthology:
- the anthology will be edited one time each year, in English language.
- it will consist of SFF short stories from Eastern European countries, meaning (in no particular order) from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, countries from former Yugoslavia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldavia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Austria and Albania. The concept of "Eastern Europe" is used in a loose way.
- each year another country will take turn on being the editor of the anthology. The editor must get the short stories from the other countries, make the anthology cover and the pagination, in PDF file that can must be print ready (ready to be printed in a paper edition of the book).
- each country representative is responsible for promoting the project to the SFF authors in its country and select the short story that will be present in the anthology
- the short story must be presented to the editor, in final
format, in English language
Along with the story must be present a literary CV of the author and a bust photo, minimum 1500 Px in height, the translators name and a proposal for a title for that year anthology.
- The final title will be voted by the countries representatives
- each year the editor must provide a theme for that year's edition, the deadline for the submission and the deadline for the anthology
- the PDF will be available for free
- each edition will be promoted by the representatives and authors, if they participate at various SFF national and international conventions and through contacts they have in the SFF world
For the 2021 edition, the editor will be the Romanian Team, and I am it's representative.
The theme is as follows:
- the year is 2020-2030 (you can select a year in that period)
- in an Eastern Europe country, a case of a new viral hemorrhagic fever appears (here is an article about this kind of disease https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viral_hemorrhagic_fever)
- the disease spreads like wildfire and a lot of people are starting to die
- soon the disease is spreading, but interesting, only in Eastern European countries.
- these countries are strictly quarantined by the rest of the world
- the story is located in the country of the author
Deadline for the short story submission: 14th April 2021
Deadline for the anthology: 1st July 2021, to be presented at the Eurocon in Fiugi
You are invited to be the representative of your country, in the 2021 anthology.

Zbornik kratkih zgodb SFF v angleškem jeziku z avtorji iz
vzhodnoevropskih držav.
Tu je naš predlog za zbornik:
- Zbornik bo izhajal enkrat letno v angleškem jeziku:
- Sestavljale ga bodo kratke zgodbe SFF iz vzhodnoevropskih držav,
kar pomeni (brez posebnega vrstnega reda) iz:
- Češke,
- Slovaške,
- Poljske,
- Držav nekdanje Jugoslavije (BiH, Črna gora, Hrvaška, Kosovo, Makedonija, Slovenija, Srbija),
- Estonije,
- Latvije,
- Litve,
- Rusije,
- Ukrajine,
- Belorusije,
- Moldavije,
- Romunije,
- Madžarske,
- Bolgarije,
- Avstrije,
- Albanije.
- Pojem »vzhodna Evropa« uporabljamo precej ohlapno.
- Vsako leto se bo zamenjala država urednica zbornika. Urednik mora dobiti kratke zgodbe iz drugih držav, pripraviti antologijo in naslovnico v datoteki PDF, ki jo je treba natisniti (PDF naj bo pripravljen za tiskanje v papirni izdaji kot knjiga).
- Predstavnik vsake države je odgovoren za promocijo sodelujočih avtorjev in projekta v svoji državi in izbere kratko zgodbo, ki bo prisotna v zborniku.
- Kratka zgodba mora biti predstavljena uredniku v končni obliki v angleškem jeziku.
- Zgodbi mora biti priložena bibliografija avtorja z doprsno fotografijo (visoka najmanj 1500 px) in ime prevajalca. Pričakuje se tudi predlog naslova antologije.
- Za končni naslov bodo glasovali predstavniki udeleženih držav.
- Vsako leto mora urednik aktivne države (tiste, ki je na vrsti za organizacijo priprave in izdaje antologije) objaviti temo razpisa z rokom za oddajo del.
Velja še: PDF mora biti bezplačen.
Vsako izdajo bodo promovirali predstavniki in avtorji, če bodo sodelovali na različnih državnih in mednarodnih konvencijah SFF in s pomočjo stikov v svetu SFF. Seveda se pričakuje tudi promocija v lokalnem okolju.
Antologija letnika 2021
Za izdajo leta 2021 bo urednik romunska ekipa, Darius Luca Hupov pa sem njen predstavnik.
Tema je naslednja:
- Dogajanje v letih 2020-2030 (izberete lahko leto tega obdobja)
- V vzhodnoevropski državi se pojavi primer nove virusne hemoragične mrzlice (tukaj je članek o tovrstni bolezni https://www.nijz.si/sl/hemoragicna-mrzlica-z-renalnim-sindromom-hmrs-misja-mrzlica)
- Bolezen se širi kot požar in začne se množično umiranje za posledicami bolezni.
- Zanimivo, bolezen se širi le v vzhodnoevropskih državah.
- Preostali svet postavi te države v strogo karanteno.
- Zgodba se nahaja v državi avtorja
Rok za oddajo kratke zgodbe: 14. april 2021
Rok za zbornik: 1. julij 2021, ki bo predstavljen na Euroconu v Fiugiju
